This chair has been out in The Hell Hole for over two and a half years.
I found it on a Facebook yard sale site in the absolute dead of Winter.
It smelled so bad that I kept it out on our front porch in freezing temperatures for a week. When the weather got warmer a few months later I used a wash technique on the wooden parts, wrapped it up in a sheet and tucked it back in its corner of the garage. A few weeks ago, during our annual Lets Get Our Garage Back delusion I had an idea…
I fell in love with this fabric in the Spring.
I just keep ordering more.
This detail on the bottom of the chair was what sealed the deal for me.
Achieving this finish is super easy. All I did was brush white chalk paint on to the wood and wipe it off with a damp cloth.
The upholstery on the other hand was hard. Like a really bad work kinda hard. Good thing my air was running and my windows were all closed. Good God the corners drove my crazy!!!! I do love how the chair came out though.
The buffalo check suits it I think.
This chair will be going to Market if I can part with it.
My little Shadow :)))
Have a great weekend!
