Well……….here we are.
Tomorrow is the day. At 10 am at the WNC Ag center the show begins!
If I said I was not nervous I would be lying.
This afternoon I took one last look at our 400 square foot booth and felt good. Really good. So, against my better judgement I walked the entire venue to see what everyone else had worked so very hard on and I was speechless. Every vender in that joint definitely brought their A Game. The gorgeous booths were brimming over with Beautiful, Shabby and Farmhouse.
Here is a glimpse of what we will have to offer:)
Pardon the drink can, my purse and Go Bag. I grabbed a few quick pics before I called it a day and headed home to see Big Daddy. I am quite pleased with how our space came together !! Especially considering there were six very different hands in it. Each of the six has a speciality and it has made for a wonderful mix.
So here are a few things to consider if you are planning on attending Vintage Market Day Asheville NC:
Friday 10-5 $10…… this ticket is good all weekend!
Saturday 10-5 $5 …….good for both Saturday and Sunday
Sunday 10-4 $5
There are ACRES of parking!
This is great unless you have to park on the last acre. It’s a long walk. I saw handicapped spots all around the building, close by the doors.
There will be no Food Trucks at this event, per the WNC Ag center. They do have a cafe inside the venue but it is small. Lines will be long and seating is limited. My best advice is don’t come hungry. Per the VMD Facebook page 20,000 people are expected. The Ag Center is on Airport road and there are lots of restaurants near by.
This is a big one. Everybody takes cash. I don’t have a clue who takes personal checks and who doesn’t. There are two ATM’s. I know from Big Daddy the WIFI in this building is not great. 140 venders will be trying to connect to it to run credit cards so there is no guarantee that they can alway process credit purchases. Plus, we all know there is bargaining power with cash.
Friday is considered an early entry or ‘pre-sale’ day.
It will definitely be the day with the best selection. While I can’t speak for all of the venders my best advise is do not expect to bargain on this day. Sunday will definitely be the best prices. Nobody wants to pack stuff up and take it all back home if they can sell it. So if you are a Deal Hunter, Sunday is your day. Saturday will be a mix.
The restrooms are LARGE with plenty of stalls. There are water fountains.
This is a large climate controlled venue. Wear comfortable shoes 🙂
Our booth is on the second row about half way down. Please stop by and say ‘Hi” if you get a chance. I will be there all day Friday and Saturday.
